As in any other airport in the country, security at Washington Dulles is operated by the federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
Arrive early to clear security. You should arrive two hours before your flight during the busiest hours: 5:30am – 8:00am 11:00am – 1:00pm 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Tip: if you’re not checking bags and you have pre-printed your boarding pass, go directly to the Baggage Claim (Arrivals) level and look for a sign marked “TO ALL GATES” to access the Security Screening Mezzanines. Lines are usually shorter
