Located only 9 miles East of Midtown Manhattan, New York City, in East Elmhurst, Queens, LaGuardia airport (LGA) is NYC metro area’s third largest airport. It’s almost exclusively dedicated to domestic flights within the United States and Canada. LGA along with JFK and Newark, makes New York City the largest airport system in the US. In 2010, LaGuardia handled 24 million passengers. Main operators are American Airlines and US Airways. Both Delta and US Airways have a terminals named after them.

When driving to & from LGA, take the Queensboro Bridge. It’s toll free! You’ll have to pay for the alternate routes, Midtown Tunnel & Triboro Bridge

To get from one terminal to another, you have to exit the terminals and ride the free bus that goes between terminals. LGA does not have monorail service
